The color is an intense, bright, flamboyant pink. Its bubbles form a delicate halo of fine foam. A full-bodied nose reveals delicious aromas of pastries. On the palate the attack is clean, fresh and generous, with silky tannins. Taittinger Nocturne Rosé "City Lights" is a structured, voluptuous champagne that presents an elegant, well-integrated balance of sugar, acid and tannins. Taittinger Nocturne Rosé "City Lights" is a champagne for the beginning and the end of the evening. It can accompany a gourmet dessert (even a chocolate one) or a chic snack. It will carry revelers and champagne lovers to the end of the night and beyond.

Strawberry puree and orange sorbet flavors are laced with accents of pickled ginger, smoke and pineapple pâte de fruit in this creamy version. Bright and balanced, with a lip-smacking finish. Drink now. 400 cases imported.

(70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay; 17.5 g/l dosage; L4075KU00400): Dark orange-pink. Pungent red berry and cherry pit aromas are enlivened by suggestions of white pepper and ginger. Surprisingly taut and linear given its level of residual sugar, offering juicy raspberry and tangerine flavors that pick up a toasty nuance on the back half. Finishes with repeating spiciness as well as a hint of bitterness, leaving a sweet berry note behind.

This is one of a pair of premium off-dry Champagnes that are distinctive and bold. There is a tannic edge to this wine as well as plenty of red fruitiness and acidity. Because it is only just off dry, it will make a great pairing with savory spicy dishes.

The latest release of the NV Nocturne Rosé Sec offers up a fruit-driven bouquet of cherries and strawberries, followed by a medium to full-bodied, off-dry palate, with a youthfully frothy mousse and a rounded, fleshy profile, tempered by a touch of red wine phenolics that mitigate against any tendency toward the cloying.
