This is an elegant and powerful red wine with classic bing cherry fruit coupled with truffle and brown spice notes over a long and complex finish. Pairs with a wide range of cuisines, from basic roasts or grilled meats to rich seafood such as blackened tuna or seared salmon.

Whispers of roasted black plum and tobacco leaf introduce this robust and concentrated yet briskly balanced red. Matured 18 months in oak (about 1/3 new), it's a generous, weighty sip studded with notes of violet petal, earth and fur, with a fiery frame of tannins. It needs time to meld, so approach from 2024.

A lush, supple red, evoking black cherry, blackberry, violet, iron and spice flavors. A dense matrix of tannins lends structure, yet this also has a graceful component. Fresh, graphite-tinged aftertaste. Best from 2024 through 2040. 700 cases imported.

The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has a composed bouquet of blackberry and raspberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with silky tannins, fine acidity and a pleasant, slightly tart finish. There is good length here and this should drink well over the next 5-7 years, possibly longer.

The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Village (Maison Louis Jadot) exhibits notes of sweet raspberries, plums and cherries mingled with loamy soil and espresso roast. Medium-bodied, lively and youthfully chewy, it concludes with a saline finish.
