Hess Allomi Pinot Noir 2019

This Pinot Noir is bright and engaging, full of red fruit aromas woven together with notes of cinnamon and sandalwood. Beautifully structured and lush, the palate is loaded with complete layers of cherries, brown spices and savory notes that surround silky tannins, persisting through a long finish. This is an earthy wine with a little fruity background. I would serve this Pinot with a duck breast club sandwich with watercress, or mushroom and fennel risotto, caramelized spring onions, stewed lentils with bacon lardons and sautéed bitter greens. I enjoy this wine and can see it being paired with many flavor profiles.
