The commune produces almost exclusively red wines however there is a limited production of whites. The Nuits-Saint-Georges red wines are robust and elegant, they require some years of aging to reflect the finest expressions of the Pinot Noir. Soft, feathery tannins and luscious black-plum and boysenberry flavors make this ample, juicy Nuits-St.-Georges immediately approachable. Matured 10 to 12 months in oak (20% new), it's a rounded, pure-fruited red with just a touch of granite minerality. At peak now-2028.

Very pretty red with spice, dried meat and dark fruit. Medium body and light tannins that are precise and focused. Shows tension. Just before bottling.

Though ripe and broad on the palate, this red is also bright, featuring black cherry, black currant, violet and iron notes. Firms up on the finish with assertive tannins, but they stay in line. Delivers a spice- and mineral-tinged aftertaste. Drink now through 2032.

The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village exhibits aromas of sweet berry fruit, cassis, rich soil tones and smoke. Medium to full-bodied, chalky and structured, it's firmer and more tightly wound than the Gevrey-Chambertin.
