Smoke, tar and spice, as well as lots of dark fruit and olives on the nose. Full-bodied with round, creamy tannins, juicy fruit and tangy acidity. Some tar and chocolate. A blend of montepulciano, sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon, marselan, and alicante bousche

In 2018, the entry-level A Quo is pliant, supple and super-expressive. Plum, lavender, menthol and crème de cassis all meld together in a soft, supple Maremma red that will drink well right out of the gate. The purity of the dark red purplish berry fruit is striking, as is the wine's freshness.
