But scant as it was, it was beautifully ripe, burnished by sun but not raisined, nor in any way diminished by mold or mildew. Glorious fruit. Tiny berries. The wine is rich, and raucously powerful. Not as sherry-like as the 05 or 06 and with better minerality than either. The wine is golden and so viscous that it looks like oil, not wine. Because of the acidity and minerality, it is still lively in the mouth, like a dancer rampaging.
