Founded in 1709, Domaine Charles Frey farms 13ha of vineyards from three communes in Alsace; Dambach, Scherwiller, & Chatenis and vinifies their wines in the town of Dambach La Ville.The vineyards located above the town feature granitic soils which give the wines a distinctive character.

Certified Organic since 1997.In 2001 Nathalie and Dominique Frey converted the vineyards to Biodynamic, and Vegan with certification awarded in 2017.

Their dedication to this philosophy led the family to build a new storehouse that was situated between two underground springs (located by a water diviner) and including a granite standing stone that has water flowing around it to magnify the natural energy points adding to harmony both in the wines and the workers.

90% Gewurztraminer 10% Muscat

Dry and fresh from 40 year old vines. A different Alsace with a dry finish.The nose displays apricot, blood orange, peach, and yellow apple. Macerated 15 days on the skins and aged 8 months in foudres before bottling with no sulfites added.
