The 2019 Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc is bright, airy and effusive. Even with 20% Sémillon, the Le Petit Blanc is light on its feet. Lemon peel, white flowers, crushed rocks mint and chalk are beautifully sculpted. This chiseled, nuanced white is all class. A bright, saline finish rounds things out in grand style. Gorgeous.

A blend built around 20% Sémillon and rather riper Sauvignon Blanc, the 2019 Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc exhibits aromas of crisp stone fruit, lemongrass, pastry cream and smoke, followed by a medium to full-bodied, textural and fleshy palate that's layered and lively, concluding with chalky grip. It's a more serious, gastronomic wine than the entirely Sauvignon Les Hauts de Smith Blanc.

Bright and fresh, with a hint of talc dusting the lemon curd, white peach and gooseberry flavors. Shows a subtle herbal twinge on the finish, too. Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Drink now. 800 cases made, 150 cases imported.
