Winemaker Notes
The influence of this exceptional terroir appears in the pure mineral character and the intensity of aromas. Quite restrained at first, this Grand Cru offers finesse, complexity and a superb length.
Pair with smoked wild salmon, lobster salad, Royal King Crab, mature cheeses and chopped veal with creamy sauce and porcini mushrooms.

The 2019 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos opens in the glass with notes of citrus oil, blanched almonds, vanilla pod and beeswax, as well as riper fruit tones of peach and mirabelle plum. Full-bodied, layered and muscular, with a rich core of fruit and plenty of structuring extract, it will require patience.
Vinous
- v91-93
The 2021 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru has a taut and fresh bouquet with hints of wild peach and yellow plum, underlying flinty aromas surfacing with aeration yet maintains a sense of strictness. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity - touches of orange rind coming through yet it just comes to a halt abruptly on the finish. Give it two or three years in bottle.

Broad and spicy, this white evokes vanilla, lanolin, peach and apple pie flavors, with good cut and definition offsetting the creamy texture. Firms up on the finish, where lemon and mineral elements linger. Best from 2024 through 2033. 460 cases made, 90 cases imported.
