"Aromas of blackberries, conifer, walnuts and dried flowers follow through to a full body with firm, silky tannins and a beautiful finish. Its linear and fine. Juicy. A new addition of Alexander Valley and Blue Mountain give this some beauty. Drink or hold."-JS

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma Valley) is absolutely gorgeous. Nearly half of the fruit is Paul Hobbs's new estate vineyard in Alexander Valley plus Rancho Salina on Moon Mountain. Elegant, polished and refined, the 2018 is a very beautiful wine. Sweet red cherry, crushed flowers, spice and mint add lovely shades of aromatic nuance. The Sonoma Valley Cabernet is a hidden gem in Paul Hobbs' range.

Delivers a nicely energetic and enticing beam of crushed plum and boysenberry fruit that sparkles with anise and sweet spice notes. This is toasty on the finish, but the fruit wins out easily. Drink now through 2026.

Crossbarn's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County delivers waves of cherries, raspberries, mocha and baking spices on the nose. It's medium to full-bodied, approachable and easy-drinking without being soft, and it adds an attractive, thyme-like element on the finish. It's a blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc, a combination of purchased fruit from Moon Mountain and estate fruit from Alexander Valley.
