|United States, Oregon, Willamette Valley
Such a pretty and approachable red, with delicate cherry, rose petal and spice flavors that linger toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2026. 7,826 cases made.
Here is a textbook example of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. Sturdy and dark-fruited, it's a reasonably substantial wine, well balanced and showing light barrel influences of toast, coffee and smoke. Nothing too fancy, but varietally true.
Medium ruby-purple, the 2018 Pinot Noir has a nose of black cherries and berries with touches of forest floor and tar. The medium-bodied palate is grainy and fresh, supporting loads of earthy fruits.
Dark red. Smoke-tinged cherry cola and licorice scents, along with a hint of savory herbs. Spicy and broad on the palate, offering bitter cherry and black raspberry flavors that tighten up with aeration. The smoky note recurs on a nicely persistent finish that features even tannins and a lingering cherry note.
