Prunotto's 2017 Barolo is a very pretty, ethereal wine. Rose petal, spice, blood orange, mint and crushed red berry fruit are all nicely lifted. There is maybe just a bit of firmness to the tannin, but that also lends energy and drive. Drink this charming, gracious Barolo over the next decade or so.
A lightweight, tangy Barolo, marked by an appealing mix of cherry, orange peel, iron and licorice flavors. Balanced and approachable now, with moderate length. Drink now through 2028. 1,000 cases imported.
