In 2016, when we were fortunate to find ourselves with an abundance of Petit Verdot, we were excited to create this "one off" wine that gives top billing to a traditional blending grape - the first time we had a PV worthy of its own bottling since 2000! Dark and brooding with a purple-edged black core, V offers savory aromas of dried herbs, crushed sea shells, sassafras and blackberry jam. Earthy flavors of dark chocolate, black pepper and crushed stones are wrapped in the fine tannins and linger into the woodsy finish. Structure and finesse define this unique blend.
