Deep and dark with lifted seductive aromas of red fruits and spice, powerful ripe red and black fruits wrapped in a structured but lush, elegant frame. Tremendous length and complexity.

The 2016 Marina Cvetic Riserva is another beautiful release from this estate. Coming from 100% Montepulciano and aged in new barrels, it reveals a dense purple/plum color as well as unevolved notes of spiced blackberries, scorched earth, smoked herbs, chocolate, and spring flowers. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, and powerful on the palate, with plenty of structure. It's a beautiful wine, but the cellar will be your friend on this one. Hold bottles for another 3-4 years and it should evolve gracefully going forward.

Deep ruby-red. Pure aromas of plum, smoke, oak and sweet spices. Dense, suave and deep, offering rich, concentrated flavors of red cherry and dark plum lifted by a hint of violet. The finish is both luscious and long, and features rising, youthfully peppery, chewy tannins. Probably not the longest San Martino Rosso ever made by Cvetic, but a truly lovely red wine. Well done.

In this wine, sourced from the winery's San Martino estate in Chieti, aromas of tobacco, baking spice and grilled herbs meld with a dense dark-cherry coulis core. The firm medium-bodied palate is silken in feel upon entry, built by ripe cherry and dark berry flavors. Rounded tannins provide solid support alongside tangy acidity. It needs time in the bottle to come together further. Drink from 2021.

An oaky red, medium- to full-bodied and balanced, with sculpted tannins and a fresh mix of crushed black cherry and blackberry, dusty sage, fig cake and black pepper notes. Chewy finish. Best from 2020 through 2026.
