Marquis de la Tour Brut
|Region||France, Loire Valley|
|Brand||Marquis de la Tour|
Opens with a bouquet of apple cider. A nice mousse, crispness, and an apple, bready, creamy palate with nuances of citrus and nuts and a bit of astringency leads to a finish which is broader than long. There's a lot of freshly baked bread aromas in this delightful bubbly, along with peach pie and even apricot. This is an intense wine, dry and scouring and the crisp tartness follows through on the finish.
This sparkler has light pear and green plum notes, with a nice kaffir lime edge on the fresh finish. Drink now. 50,000 cases made.
Soft and creamy, this gentle sparkling wine has some ripe apple fruits and attractive acidity. A yeasty aftertaste is less attractive.
