Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
|Region||California, Napa Valley|
Sequoia Grove is a family-owned winery founded in 1979 in a 110-year old barn beneath a grove of Sequoia trees in Rutherford, Napa Valley. It is here where we’ve honed our craft of creating world-class Cabernet Sauvignon and other Napa Valley wines that emphasize elegance, finesse, structure and balance. Their consistent philosophy of making wines with varietal character that are reflective of the land helped establish Sequoia Grove as one of the premier Cabernet Sauvignon producers in Napa Valley. Our 24-acre Estate Vineyard and 50-acre Tonella Ranch Vineyard are both located in the heart of Rutherford, where the superb climate and gravelly-loam soils impart distinct flavor in the Bordeaux varieties.
This classically rich Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon bursts with aromas of mulberries, black cherry, mocha, vanilla, caramel, and fig. On the palate, this Cabernet Sauvignon delivers flavors of cinnamon, blackberry pie and dried cherry with dusty tannins, balanced acidity and a long flowing finish. This wine is built to age at least 10 years, but is also pleasing now.

Amazing fruit explosion with fig, maple oak, a touch of earth and spice - Will not disappoint! Solid 95 - KK
Alluring aromas of dried blueberries, currants, cloves and smoked meat. It’s full-bodied with firm, chewy tannins. Flavorful cooked-fruit and savory character
A bright, high-toned style, with cassis and damson plum notes, which are streaked with iron and backed by light savory and floral notes on the finish. Not a big wine, but persistent and fresh. Drink now through 2027. 25,943 cases made.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon has some solid Cabernet herbal characteristics as well as red and black fruits and some spicy oak. It's balanced, well-made, and enjoyable, with good length on the finish.
