Extremely aromatic and floral with citrus peel and rose petal aromas. The oak is restrained and in the background. On the palate, one finds tropical and citrus flavors with lead to crisp and refreshing acidity.

A lovely nose of lemon curd, baked green apple and a bit of pine. Medium-bodied with a delightful, smooth texture. Very elegant and refined. Well balanced and linear with a savory finish. Charming. Drink now or hold.

I love the Chardonnay from this estate, and their appellation 2019 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast is well worth seeking out, revealing a lighter gold hue as well as a crisp, nicely defined bouquet of poached pear, citrus, spice, and hazelnuts. Beautiful on the palate as well, it's medium-bodied and has nicely integrated acidity, notable balance, and a great finish.

Rich and finely textured, with concentrated white fruit flavors that show buttery hints. The spicy finish lingers with minerally snap and creamy accents. Drink now through 2025. 18,000 cases made.

The 2019 Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast) is soft, open-knit and gracious, all of which make it an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Dried pear, chamomile, spice and floral notes are all laced together. The Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a blend of deselected barrels from Camp Meeting Ridge and purchased fruit from sites on the West Sonoma Coast. The bright acids suggest a year or two in bottle will be beneficial. Alternatively, I would open the 2019 well in advance.
