Round and open-knit, offering juicy pit fruit, red berry and tropical fruit flavors that deftly blend richness and energy. Finishes smooth and long, with resonating peachiness and a refreshingly bitter red currant flourish. This wine would pair well with spicy, strongly seasoned, southeast Asian preparations and even, believe it or not, chicken wings with Carolina Reaper pepper sauce ­ I tried it and it worked.
