Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs 2016This 2016 Blanc de Blancs has bright aromas of ripe green apple, Bosc pear, sweet spice and buttered brioche, which intermingle with hints of fresh ginger, stone fruit and coriander. Honeycrisp apple, grilled lemon, and orange peel bring fruitful notes to the mid-palate, ending with a clean crisp acidity that's punctuated with caramelized and tropical flavors. While this wine can be enjoyed by itself as an apéritif, it is perfect with fresh oysters and other shellfish, crab cakes, ceviche and grilled sea bass. It is also delicious with lemon chicken and Thai curries. Serve with aged Gouda or other hard cheeses, and as a counterpoint to soft triple creams.

Chateau-Margaux Margaux 1988 6LThe very deep colour, the rich, intense nose and the magnificent structure on the palate are very reminiscent of the 1986. They have the same powerful, ripe tannins, with perhaps a little less concentration, but also less austerity. Unlike 1986, in fact, 1988 is starting to open out; we can therefore drink it, knowing full well that it will continue to improve for several years -seven or eight at least.
Bogle Merlot 2017Gorgeous in the glass with rich hues of garnet, the first impressions entice with aromas of sandalwood, vanilla and black cherry. The mouthwatering entry is full of red plums and cherries, while the middle palate of the wine softens with touches of cola and a smooth and silky mouthfeel. Justin Cabernet Sauvignon 2017Dark purple-ruby core with lighter rim and moderately stained, pronounced tears forming on the glass. Aromatic with ripe black and red cherry, blackcurrant and berry fruit, baking spice and sweet tobacco with red and black licorice, oak, cocoa and subtle camphor notes. Dry, nearly full bodied, with ripe black cherry, cassis and red fruit, baking spice and oak accents on entry with sustained ripe primary and mostly black fruit, dried autumn leaf, cocoa and a pleasant suggestion of camphor on the mid-palate into the finish. The finish is fresh and moderately long, showing lingering cherry and berry notes with oak and barrel spice nicely supported by fine, balanced tannins. The 2017 Justin Cabernet Sauvignon is an extremely versatile food pairing wine that makes it a great go-to red for many pairings ranging from a picnic of artisanal cheese and charcuterie, a Philly cheese steak sandwich, to a classic Entrecôte (steak) Bordelaise with pommes frites. It's a perfect wine to bring to a dinner or party for wine lovers.
Layer Cake Shiraz 2018For our Shiraz, we pull from vineyards in McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley- from the sandy-soiled blocks on the sea coast of Gulf St. Vincent to the Terra Rosa- based, tiny-berried, wind-blown rolling hills in the Barossa Zone. The microclimates give us a broad array of flavors to blend into a complex, rich, full wine.
Cherry Pie Stanly Ranch Pinot Noir 2015Dense ruby in color, the 2015 Stanly Ranch Pinot Noir shows aromas of crushed black cherry, cloves and vanilla with cola undertones. The palate is full-bodied showing bright, bold juicy red cherry and raspberry jam fruit. On the midpalate are nuanced flavors of cranberries, cocoa powder and vanilla that carry through to a long finish.
Roederer Estate BrutRoederer Estate Brut is crisp and elegant with complex pear, spice and hazelnut flavors. It is fresh and lightly fruity with great finesse and depth of flavor.
Saxum Paderewski Vineyard 2010 1.5LOur second Paderewski bottling is firing on all cylinders. I backed off on the Syrah and used a lot more Mourvedre, and added a new component, Tempranillo. Yes I know, we are crazy! It's a Zinfandel / Mourvedre / Tempranillo / Syrah / Petite Sirah blend, and it shows its terrior beautifully. What you get from this wine is a taste of the Paderewski Vineyard. It is dark, brooding and muscular, while at the same time jam packed with tons of sweet fruits. There's even a spicy tannic side lurking in there, underneath those fruit flavors. Thanks to the cool, long growing season, it has a wonderful freshness and purity to it combined with great underlying tannins.
Argiano Non Confunditur 2017Ruby red color. It reveals an exciting potency, with the innate gentles of Merlot creating a bridge between the evident earthiness of Sangiovese, the aromatic blackcurrant flavors of Cabernet and the warm red berries of Syrah. NC is a wine with a decisive, full-bodied character, smooth tannins and a persistent finish. A generous, rounded red wine, destined for short to medium ageing. Ideal with lots of typical Tuscan courses: bruschetta, crostini with liver, medium seasoned cheese, pasta with meat sauce, grilled vegetables.
Saxum Booker Vineyard 2010 1.5LOwned by Eric and Lisa Jensen, the Booker Vineyard is extremely steep and rocky with a mix of calcareous and silicious soils. We lease 2 acres of East facing Syrah that produce extremely concentrated fruit with great acidity, 1 acre of a North West face that we ferment whole cluster to produce a black tannic wine with great texture, and 1 acre of Mourvedre on a South slope that gives wonderful intensity and structure. The resulting blend is very concentrated, with great texture and tons of fruit and spice. We age it for 20-26 months mainly in new 350 Liter French hogshead barrels with extra thick staves. Our wines are never racked off their lees and are bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Two Hands Ares Shiraz 2009Deep red and black with magenta rim. The nose is bright and intense, volumes of rich berries, plums and maraschino cherries. The aromas are continually evolving, also bringing cedary spice, subtle lavender, bitter chocolate, tar and fudge. The palate is currently very tight and restrained. 2009 brought wines of great flavor with elements of finesse and the 09 Ares is no exception. Juicy plums and blueberries dominate early to mid-palate, then underlying cedary chocolate notes emerge carrying the wine through to the late palate, tightening up again to a focused core of fruit, spice and tannin.

Piccini MemoroWine flows through the historical veins of every corner of Italy. We chose a compass rose for our label to send an invitation to experience in one bottle four different grape varietals, each typical expression of a distinct Italian region: Veneto, Abruzzo, Puglia and Sicily. In many ways, Memoro is an uncharted territory for us: it is the first time when Piccini takes up the challenge of creating a wine as an Italian icon. The challenge was to create a wine that would not only taste Italian beyond any doubt, but would feel Italian. The project is the fruit of a long research and experimentation, testing and blending from all Italy. Memoro truly emerged as a cuvee wine, a blend of not only different grapes of different origins in Italy, but also of different vintages: the 12 months oaked casked Montepulciano from Abruzzo, the solar Nero d'Avola from Sicily, the colder climate (Veneto) Merlot and the passito Primitivo wine from Puglia. The final blend was the one that called its one name: Memoro, Latin for "remember" Italia. In the fullest sense, Memoro Italia is born from our Family's Italian pride. A warm, modern style with notes of dark cherries, figs and coffee in a delicate oak frame. Generous on the palate, revealing a bright fruity core. Notes of almond and fresh hazelnut accompany the precise ascent of its bubbles. A harmonious mixture of bright, crunchy pomelo, blonde grapes and juicy white fruits creates the delightfully surprising sensation of lightness embraced by the structure and depth from the Pinot Noir. Catena Zapata Alta Malbec 2014Catena Alta Malbec 2014 shows a deep violet color, with blue reflections. The nose is elegant and complex with ripe red and blackberry fruits, notes of violets and lavender and a touch of leather, spice and vanilla flavors. The palate is full and rich with soft and sweet tannins and a silky, smooth structure. Mulitple layers of rich cassis, black currant and blackberries are interwoven with hints of licorice and black pepper. Its lengthy finish is marked by wonderful minerality, finely grained tannins and lively acidity. Food Pairings: Pair with braised duck with apples, or Grilled beef filet.

Heitz Cellar Napa Valley Chardonnay 2016Our Chardonnay continues to be crafted with balance and acidity, focusing on its true varietal characteristics. The nose of the 2016 Chardonnay begins with hints of Meyer lemon, pineapple, and freshly baked sweet apple tarts. The fresh fruit aroma is complemented by subtle notes of toasted hazelnut, honey suckle, and white floral characteristics. Its fresh, bright acidity pleases the palate while balanced by a smooth richness that we obtain through sur lie aging. Blending chardonnay fruit from our estate Trailside Vineyard in Rutherford and fruit from Oak Knoll AVA, all the classic chardonnay elements marry together in balance. The rich, ripe fruit character from the warmer Rutherford vineyard combined with the crisp, light acid in the grapes from the cooler Oak Knoll vineyard is what makes our Chardonnay unique. The new French oak gives the wine vanilla and baking spice flavor without overpowering the varietal flavor.
Freelander District One Cabernet Sauvignon 2017The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is the fourth Cabernet release from Freelander and from California. Aged in and American French oak, it shows massively rich flavors of blackberries and cassis. This medium-bodied wine shows lush mouthfeel, balance and complexity. The ripe, sweet tannins and a touch of toasted oak complete the gentle finish.
Layer Cake Malbec 2017Big, brooding, black fruit, then rich earth, truffles and dark cocoa are at the front. The Sea of Stones vineyard is at its core, always evident with the thread of minerality that the deep alluvial cobblestones lend. Powell & Son Steinert Flaxman's Valley Shiraz 2016Aroma: The Steinert's perfume is beautifully complex, displaying dried herbs and spices, lifted florals, dark cherries, red currants, charcuterie meats and smoked wood. Powell & Son Barossa&Eden Valleys 2016The Loechel shows generous dark ripe fruits of blackberry, cherry liqueur and cassis which is supported by dark chocolate and mocha tones and subtle herbs and spice. The palate reveals pronounced dark fruits, underscored by smoky, savoury and meaty notes: olives and charcuterie with subtle reductive funk. The palate is medium to full-bodied, yet maintains a mouth-staining inkiness to provide a long and satisfying finish with a persistent orange-rind like acid backbone.

Ministry of the Vinterior Cabernet Sauvignon 2016The 2016 Ministry of the Vinterior Cabernet Sauvignon broods a deep burgundy color with flirty purple undertones. The nose is inviting with red currants, blackberries and a hint of blackberry. In the mouth, the wine reveals a sexy mix of black cherries, blackberries, pipe smoke and espresso tightly woven into a matrix of supple and broad tannins that layer the flavors densely and persistently on the tongue. The finish reveals a light touch of vanilla and caramel oak, lingering with a silkiness that invites another sip. Try this stunning Napa Cab with a pan seared skirt steak served with garlic roasted potatoes and a wilted spinach salad with bacon.
Almaviva Puente Alto Red 2017Deep, intense and opaque ruby red. The nose reveals a generous, powerful and layered bouquet of ripe cassis and blackberries, interwoven with hints of mineral, fine notes of vanilla, coffee, black pepper and earth. Dense and full-bodied, the wine fills the mouth with round, ripe and refined tannins, leaving an overall impression of balance and persistence. Produced from an extremely warm, but superb vintage, this well-structured wine of balanced acidity strikes a wonderful combination of elegance and power, with a very promising long aging potential.

Cade Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2017The 2017 vintage was by far one of the most challenging harvests we have experienced at CADE. But the resulting wines are what made the long days all the hard work worth it. The wine has aromas of blueberry, blackberry, coco nibs, cran- raspberry, roasted coffee, clove, cinnamon, black pepper, mint, and fruit leather. The wine has a velvety texture with lush and prominent tannins and bright acidity. There are flavors of boysenberry, blueberry pie, red cherry, cola, vanilla, graham cracker, and chocolate truffles.
Tolaini Al Passo 2016Spicy notes of oak rise above distinct aromas of cherry and berry. The palate has a backbone of Sangiovese, a roundness of Merlot and enhanced body from the Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit purity and varietal signatures are testament to the meticulous care given to the vines. Note: Some sediment may occur in the bottom of the bottle as the wine is not filtered.
