Lively, focused black fruit, bay and redwood aromas lead to just-ripe black cherries, blueberries and black tea in this well-concentrated, well-balanced and complex wine. Good acidity and moderate tannins complement the vivid flavors and bode well for further aging. Best from 2025-2032.

A saturated purple color, the 2021 Pinot Noir Heritage Single Vineyard Sun Chase Estate, while quite attractive, would be tough to identify as Pinot Noir by its appearance or its nose. In the glass, it opens to ripe notes of black plum, pepper spice, leather, and lavender. The palate comes to life and notably offers a lot more brightness and lift, revealing snappy acidity, ripe tannins, and a clean, toasty finish with a hint of incense. It's an intriguing wine, but certainly not textbook or classic. Drink 2024-2030.

A dark, winey style, with a mix of crushed blackberry and boysenberry preserves laced with light licorice and apple wood hints. The finish reveals nice savory and chaparral accents, which add length and energy. Drink now through 2028. 590 cases made.
