Seductive oak-spice aromas and concentrated black-fruit flavors make a great combination in this sweet-seeming, velvety wine. Fine-grained tannins wrap around dried plums, baked cherries, cinnamon and vanilla in a captivating way. Best from 2026-2033.

Blackcurrant, milk chocolate and hazelnut aromas follow through to a full body with chewy tannins, fresh acidity and a delicious finish. Give it a year or two but very attractive already.

Taking on an inky red/black hue, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Sentinel is ripe with blackcurrants, menthol, and toasted cedar. Full-bodied and packed with fruit and earth, it offers youthful primary fruit of black plum, cocoa, and espresso, with generous fruit up front and through the midpalate before revealing ripe but slightly drying tannins on the finish. It's a solid wine from this vintage to drink 2025-2035.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Sentinel is blended with 4% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot and was matured for 20 months in 75% new French and American oak. It has an opaque ruby color and aromas of Morello cherries, cigar box and mint chocolate. The full-bodied palate is ripe and rounded with dense flavors, and it falls off on the finish. Drink it over the next 2-3 years. 1,336 cases produced.
