Château Smith Haut Lafitte Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc 2020

The 2020 Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc is made up of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon, aging in 50% new barriques. It offers open-knit scents of fresh Bosc pears, lemongrass and green guava, plus hints of white pepper and wet slate. The medium-bodied palate is crisp and refreshing, delivering mouth-filling apple and lemon-inspired flavors with a satiny texture and zesty finish.

The 2020 Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc is bright and nicely focused. It is done in a style that is a bit more linear than Les Hauts. Crushed rocks, white pepper, mint, lemon oil and white flowers are beautifully delineated.

A friendly, open-knit offering, with peach, white nectarine and floral notes that breeze along. Shows good zip on the shortbread-kissed finish. Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Drink now through 2024. 800 cases made, 150 cases imported.
