From a vineyard in Gadagne planted in 1947, the 2019 Vin de France Liberty is a bit chunky but not hard, with a full-bodied, slightly muscular feel and bold black cherry flavors. While it lacks the elegance of the family's offerings from Chateauneuf du Pape, it's still a very good wine.
