Echeverria No Es Pituko Rose 2021
The No Es Pituko Rosé is a limited release, fruit-driven, Pais based, unfiltered, and unsulphured addition to the Echeverria Estate lineup. Over the last few years the label has grown from a small experimental project to a major focus for the winery and the No Es Pituko Rosé represents their continued evolution.
No Es Pituko Rose is made from 100% Pais, a varietal with great historical importance. It was the first Vitis vinifera grape variety to be exported from the Old World (Spain) to the New World (Mexico) in the 16th Century. It showscases the terroir & is unfiltered so there is some cloudiness. It tastes delicous and is going to blow out the door at such an amazing price. Natural and Sustainable.
Viña Echeverria Description
Each bottle of No Es Pituko Rose contains four and a half bunches of single vineyard grapes, a lot of love for the environment, and a lot of love for you. This wine is in its most natural state, so it is likely to be cloudy and/or have sediments. We recommend that you don't wait too long to drink it (like in the next 5 minutes). If you like, drink it chilled. You could even give the bottle a bit of a shake before you open it.
Roberto Henriquez is one of the vanguards of the "pipeño" movement in Chile aka making wine the way it was hundreds of years ago - more naturally (very little SO2 added, indigenous yeasts, unflitered) and with the oldest vines planted by the Spanish, long before other Europeans came there escaping phylloxera.
