Vrac Rosé 2020
|Region||France, Provence, Vin de Pays de Mediterranee|
In France, "en VRAC" refers to wine bought in bulk directly from the producer, and that's what's been done here. VRAC follows a centuries-old European tradition where villagers buy their wine in bulk "en VRAC" from the local winery. It comes directly from the winemaker's barrels, insuring that they are drinking their favorite wine at the most affordable price. Whatever the source, this is a true crowd-pleaser: a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan, it offers ripe strawberries on the nose while the palate is crisp and dry, supported by a pleasing minerality. And it comes in a three-liter bg-in-box, equivalent to four bottles, convenient as well as economical.
