Focused dark currant and blackberry flavors are supported by bright acidity. Savory richness shows midpalate, with dried green herbal notes followed by a creamy finish filled with Asian spice and dark chocolate details. Drink now through 2025.

Bright ruby-red. Very ripe aromas of blackberry, blueberry, violet and licorice, plus notes of cocoa powder and dark chocolate. Quite seamless in texture but with a slightly medicinal, herbal cast that conveys the coolness of the 2016 vintage. Strong black fruit flavors are accented by menthol and mint. Finishes with firm, building tannins, a note of dusty cocoa powder and very good violet lift. Not a particularly pliant style of Cabernet Franc, this wine could use a couple years for its tannins to resolve. (14.5% alcohol)
