The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Hommage from Clos Pegase is soft, sensual and inviting. This is a plump style for the year, with good juiciness to the dark flavors and plenty of near term appeal.

The most expensive cuvée, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Hommage, which is beautifully packaged, actually passes the grade with lots of oak, but much more concentration, richness and density. A dense ruby/purple, it shows sweet blackcurrant fruit, spice and floral notes. In the mouth it is medium to full-bodied, pure and head-and-shoulders above the other two cuvées. Drink it over the next decade or so.
