Marchesi di Barolo Barolo Tradizione 2020

Lifted red fruit aromas, mingled with the sweet scent of candied strawberries and an array of floral notes that gently waft out of the glass. It is abundant in spice, with hints of licorice, clove and vanilla. Lush and giving on the palate the wine is driven by its fruit character while savory spices and earth notes stand in the wings. The wine finishes with rounded tannins that allow the wine to be opened today.

Opening to a medium-dark color, the Marchesi di Barolo 2020 Barolo Tradizione is slightly opaque with a combination of blackcurrant and sweet spice. The fruit feels quite ripe with dried cherry and candied raspberry. You also taste the tarry spice that comes with barrel age. The wine's aromas come into better focus with a little extra time in the glass.
