The bouquet opens readily with cherry, blackberry and fragrant wild rose. The mouthfeel is direct and sharp with tangy, sour fruit on the close. This wine will flesh out and grow in volume with more cellar aging, but you could also opt to drink it in the near and medium term.

This opens with subdued aromas of crushed herb, espresso, dried rose and a whiff of camphor. On the rather lean linear, palate, coconut, toast and powdered sage notes accent sour cherry alongside assertive close-grained tannins that leave a somewhat astringent finish.
