Deep garnet. A bouquet typical of the Nebbiolo grape: flowery and toasty with hints of sweet spice, nuts and delicate herbs. A balanced, elegant wine that is bold and intense.
Pair with red meats, game, roasts, and sharp, aged cheeses. Serve at 18-20˚C (64.4-68˚F).

Had this with a chicken parm last night and it was about as good as it gets. Medium body, cherry, subtle soft spice (not much at all) just a hint and a liquorice finish.

This is a solid Barolo with strawberry, meat, walnut and tar aromas and flavors. It’s full-bodied with rich fruit and tannins. Muscular, yet there’s elegance and polish to it at the same time. Drink after 2021.
