On the nose, boysenberry, bay leaf and a sprinkle of cinnamon and anise. The palate is dense and fleshy, but without heaviness - this one has pep to the step! Flavors of cassis and forest fruits so bright and juicy on your palate. So much flavor, but there's a lick of tannin to hold it all together, like smooth pebbles rolling along your tongue.

The vibrant 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Tolmer initially delivers inviting aromas of fruit pastilles with strong green herb undertones. It's then bold and surprisingly firm. Tannins are pronounced over layers of cassis and earth but with appreciable concentration underneath. It just needs some time to soften and come into better balance.
