This is a really solid white with so much structure and depth, as well as a border-less, encompassing palate. Full-bodied and polished with lots of length. Shows complex flavors, from cooked apples and lemons to stones and hints of flowers. Still tight. Needs time to come together.

“Golden apple, yellow plums, and a touch of banana peel followed by chamomile tea leaves, hawthorn, browned toast and seductive sweet baking spicesMedium- to full-bodied and creamy textured with soft acidity that beautifully balances out the wine. Very precisely framed with underlying herb and mineral layers. Aged for 11 months in 60% new French oak. Predominantly from the vineyards in Oakville. Drink or hold.” —James Suckling,

Juicy and bold, with plenty to admire in the tangerine, pear and apricot flavors at the core, plus touches of lemon tart, caramelized sugar and nutmeg. Honeysuckle, clover honey and buttered, toasted brioche details linger. Drink now through 2036. 11,300 cases made.
