Intense and deep ruby red, with garnet hues. On the nose, it has complex aromatic notes from fruit in alcohol to bitter spices, black pepper, licorice and cocoa. In the mouth it is intense, with great structure, powerful with sumptuous expression of ripe fruit. The finish is pleasantly sinuous and dry. Elegance and structure make it perfect with feathered and furry game, red meats, long-aged cheeses. It is the ideal companion for long conversations.
