Leading off the reds, the 2018 Lirac checks in as 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre brought up in 25% new oak. This elegant, pure Lirac exhibits notes of black raspberries, ground pepper, flowers, and spice. With subtle background oak, medium body, and silky tannins, it's a beautiful wine to enjoy over the coming 4-6 years.

The 2018 Lirac is fleshier and more supple than the 2017 but perhaps a bit less rich and deep. It combines black olive and black cherry notes in a medium to full-bodied wine that finishes with an attractive hint of licorice.
