This very laid-back, classy wine shows little in the way of easy sweetness but finishes with smooth tannins and sneaky length. A very sophisticated Washington Cabernet with excellent delineation. Made from 87% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Merlot, it's medium to full-bodied, with a layered, seamless texture and a great finish. The 2015 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits notes of smoky red-black fruit, cigar wrapper and loamy soil. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, firm and chewy. It's going to require some patience, but the tannins are not overly aggressive or drying.
