A fresh, dark-cherry and stone nose with attractive purity of fruit here. The palate has a very succulent, quite grainy and deeply ripe feel with a super rich, concentrated and bold serving of ripe dark plums and blackberries. Tar to close. Impressive. Drink or hold

Lots of lavender, garrigue, peppery herbs, and rocking dark fruits emerge from the 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape. With medium to full body, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish, it’s unquestionably an outstanding wine. It’s already hard to resist yet will benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and cruise for a decade.

The flamboyant 2019 Chateauneuf-du-Pape packs elevated flavor concentration yet neatly maintains balancing freshness. Swirling the glass unlocks ripe black cherry, melted licorice, raspberry jam and cedar traces. Wait at least one more year before pulling the cork of this bold Chateauneuf-du-Pape.

A late-release Chateauneuf, with aromatic beauty. Shows lovely signs of evolution, with woodsy, dried leaf and earth notes. Dried currant and red fruit flavors are layered with singed garrigue and perfumed violet details. Sweet sandalwood and bay leaf chime in on the finish, in the grip of slightly drying tannins. Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah. Drink now through 2028. 3,000 cases imported.
