We tasted this at the winery paired with Persian prepared lab. (ts marinated in onion juice for 24 hours) and it was amazing. Older world style. 80 new French oak for 21 months and fully alive with fig, tar and lavender notes.

Dark and winey, with a core of steeped black currant and fig paste. The back end turns to espresso crema and bittersweet cocoa, plus a hint of walnut husk. Shows a bit of range and depth, but the vintages muted energy is in effect as well. Drink now through 2030. 9,822 cases made.
