From 15 year old vines planted in calcareous, sandy soil in Bricco di Neive at 350 m above sea level. Fermentation and maceration: 15-20 days in steel vats at controlled temperatures with indigenous yeasts. Aged 26 months in large slavonian oak casks. Serve with roast and braised red meats, game, truffle dishes, mature cheeses.
