Black cherries, black olives, currants and a touch of black pepper come with firm tannins and a hearty, grippy mouthfeel in this full-bodied, classically styled wine. The wine has a heritage aura, like a great Cabernet from the 1980s, and will no doubt age well through at least 2033.

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon skips out of the glass with lively notes of redcurrant jelly, blackberries and black raspberries, plus hints of fragrant earth and dried Provence herbs. The medium-bodied palate is refreshing and vibrant, delivering red and blackberry layers with a pleasantly chewy texture, finishing with an herbal lift. (Tasted as a barrel sample.)

A very assertive, powerful and alluringly fresh nose with lively boysenberry and blackberry aromas, leading to a palate that offers a succulent core of fresh, rich and deep-set fruit flavors. Superb depth and richness here

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a tasty, straightforward Cabernet to drink now and over the next handful of years. This soft, fruity Cabernet offers plenty of charm for the medium-term. Juicy dark cherry, black plum, and spice linger.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is cut from the same cloth, offering blue fruits, notes of earth and underbrush, some chewy tannins, medium to full-bodied richness, and a good finish. It's a solid, enjoyable Cabernet.
