A mineral-driven rosé, with melon pith, heather and garrigue flavors carried by a sleek, mouthwatering acidity. Shows nice balance and freshness. Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah. Drink now. 20,000 cases made, 15,000 cases imported.

A classic, pale rosé, this smooth wine emphasizes ripe fruit. Cinsault dominates the blend, offering richness, strawberry flavors and just a light zing. The wine is attractive and ready to drink.

A blend of 40% Cinsault, 30% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, I first tasted the 2019 Coteaux Varois en Provence Rose as a tank sample hand-carried from France, but I was able to follow up in time for this report with a bottle of the finished wine. Bright berries and melon notes carry just a hint of confected, cotton-candy aromas, but those are balanced by a medium-bodied core of raspberry and strawberry fruit and some vaguely leafy and citrusy notes on the finish.
