Medium ruby-purple, the 2019 The Bohan-Dilon Pinot Noir is the only cuvée from the Hirsch lineup that contains just a touch (3%) of non-estate fruit, which feels like a fair exchange for such a reasonable price tag at this quality level! It is deeply scented with dried cranberries and red cherries, orange peel, Angostura bitters and dusty earth. Light-bodied and delicate, the palate offers powdery tannins and seamless acidity with an intense core of citrus-laced fruits, and it has a long, nuanced finish.

This wine is such an outstanding value for outstanding quality, it's crazy. Bright, effusive and lingering in freshly picked berry spice, it offers tension and verve on the palate, showing balanced acidity and lovely, complex accents of lavender and white pepper.

The 2019 Pinot Noir The Bohan-Dillon is a terrific introduction to this range. Rose petal, lavender, mint, dried flowers and crushed raspberry fruit all grace this attractive, mid- weight Pinot Noir. I especially admire the inner sweetness and perfume here. There's terrific focus and tons of charm.

A delicious, fruity pinot with a generous amount of ripe-strawberry character and round tannins, yet there’s tension and focus to the wine. Full-bodied, layered and lively with integrated tannins and a flavorful finish. Drink or hold
