Deep purple-hued with notes of blackcurrants, toasted spice, flowery incense, and cigar tobacco, this rock star of a wine hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a lush, opulent texture, ripe tannins, and a great, great finish.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard rocks up out of the glass with effortlessly expressive warm cassis, baked plums and boysenberry notes plus suggestions of pencil lead, fragrant earth and menthol plus a touch of dark chocolate. Full-bodied, firm and grainy in the mouth, the palate is jam parked with black fruit preserves, finishing long and earthy. 100 cases produced.
