Had this last night with Lamb Chops and a baked potato and it was about as good as it gets. It had notes blueberry, cassis, mint, mocha, & magic. The mouthfeel has a bone dry acidity and tannin mix that explodes into majestic dark fruit. Its as if it explodes off your tongue and then re-appears with a with a bang. It finishes up with African spices and dried cured meats that last nicely.
Seductive singed juniper, black tea and sassafras notes lead the way, with mulled blackberry, plum and black currant fruit following along. The fine-grained finish laces everything up with mouthwatering acidity and subtle grip. Drink now through 2031. 19,680 cases made.
