I always seem to prefer this cuvée over the Les Hauts de Smith Blanc, and the 2022 Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc is a solid step up. A blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon, it has beautiful melon, honeyed citrus, and floral aromatics. These carry to a medium to full-bodied, vibrant, yet still concentrated, balanced white that should have a decade of longevity.

A blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon, the 2022 Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc is a solid effort, exhibiting aromas of peach, pear and smoke with flinty notes. Medium-bodied, charming and fleshy, it has racy acids, a delicate tannic sensation and a long, delicate core of fruit (lemon oil) with a penetrating finish.

The 2016 Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc is deep, layered and very pretty. A hint of new oak frames the orchard fruit and floral notes nicely, while tropical overtones add a dash of exotic flair. All the elements simply meld together in a striking, inviting wine endowed with terrific balance and tons of pure appeal. The interplay of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon works beautifully here..Antonio Galloni, January/2019

Lemon curd and salted butter notes give this pretty white a curvy, flattering feel, while verbena and honeysuckle keep everything on the fresh and floral side. Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Drink now through 2028. 1,000 cases made, 150 cases imported.
