With small amounts of Merlot and mixed reds, this wine is thick in tannin and bright in red fruit, with complementary characteristics of graphite, clove and cedar. An elegant midpalate of balanced weight lens to a soft, graceful finish.

Composed of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, 2% Malbec and 3% Petit Verdot, the deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon springs from the glass with vibrant kirsch, wild blueberries and warm cassis notes plus fragrant hints of cedar chest, red roses, cinnamon stick and cloves. Medium-bodied, the palate sings of bright red and black fruits with slightly chewy tannins and bold freshness, finishing on a savory note. 50,000 cases were made.

Moving to the reds, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon has a relatively firm, backward style to go with some black cherry and currant fruits, medium-bodied depth and richness, and notes of dried herbs, espresso, and earth.
