This young, fruity wine offers aromas and flavors of red berries and cherries, a delicate structure and soft tannins. It is made to be consumed within three to five years of the vintage.
Serve with light dishes of meat in sauce, coq au vin or mild white cheeses.

This ripe, full wine is a blend of parcels across the Côte de Beaune. Its rich tannins and full berry fruits are generous, cut with juicy acidity and supported by a core of tannins. Drink from 2022.

The 2016 Côte de Beaune-Villages (Maison Louis Jadot) is produced from purchased wine, and it isn't as integrated as the wines Jadot vinifies in house. Aromas of creamy new oak vie with juicy red fruits for the taster's attention, followed by a medium-bodied, fleshy but rather simple palate, with melting tannins and tangy acids. It's not bad, but there are many better reds in the range.
