Intense, dark color. A depth of blackcurrants comes through on the nose with toasted notes, refined oak and sweet spice. Rich and luscious in the mouth with delicious fruit and ripened tannins that blend in harmony with a dense structure. A Reserva of superb finesse and complexity.

Mixing fruit from the various villages in the Rioja Alta with 15% fruit from Laguardia and Lanciego, this stylish, Tempranillo-dominated Reserva is made to a commendably consistent quality. Aged in French oak, it's dense, concentrated yet refreshing with bramble, black cherry and nutmeg flavors and fresh acidity. 2021-28"

- "Aromas of ripe berries and plums with spices and toasted oak, as well as dried flowers, following through to a full body with chewy tannins and a tannic finish. Lots of fruit and tannins still. Another year or two will soften it. Try in 2021."

Cassis and raisin aromas announce a fully ripe, warm-year reserva with enough acidic kick on the palate to ensure balance. Blackberry and baked plum flavors benefit from said acidity, while finishing notes of cured beef and baked berry fruits confirm that this a ripe-style Rioja. Drink through 2024.

Deep, shimmering ruby. Ripe cherry and red currant on the highly perfumed nose, accompanied by building vanilla and spice nuances. Taut, focused and youthfully wound up, reluctantly offering bitter cherry, red berry, mocha and spicecake qualities and a smoky topnote. The impressively long, penetrating finish features youthful, gripping tannins and resonating red currant and spice notes. By all means give this one some time, or at least a good amount of air if you plan on opening it any time soon.
