Venge Scout's Honor 2017The 2017 vintage of this wine is perhaps our finest effort to date. This delicious red blend honors our late and beloved Labrador Retriever, Scout. This wine is based on a tradition of producing a full bodied and delicious red wine. We start with a base of old-vine Zinfandel and build upon that with dry-farmed Petite Sirah, old-vine Charbono, and finish with mountain vineyard Syrah. The result is an unpretentious red wine that is ready to enjoy upon release. This vintage has a gorgeous, concentrated assemblage of sweet honeysuckle, crushed blue herbs, aromas of violets, anise, and a touch of vanillin. On the palate is pure richness from the old-vine Zinfandel with loads of super ripe black fruits and currants, pepper spice, and an enveloping masculinity of char and tannins from the Syrah, Charbono and Petite Sirah. Bodegas y Vinedos Maurodos Prima 2016Prima 2014 Region: Toro D.O. Winery: MAURODOS, BODEGAS Y VINEDOS Grapes: 85% Tinta de Toro, 15% Garnacha Vintage: 2014 Color: Red The grapes for Prima are sourced from vines between 10 and 50 years of age. The vineyards for this wine are growing in sandy-clay soils with gravelly subsoils. Vineyards are trained both en vaso and to wire. The younger estate vines were planted at higher density than existing plantings. This 2014 vintage is uniformed in quantity and quality with balanced phenolic ripeness, aromatic intensity, precise fruit, smooth tannins and well measured aging. Winter was relatively warm, with below average rainfall and rapid bud break. Early flowering in the beginning in June due to a frost-free Spring. Veraison came early and harvesting started September 8th. Harvesting took place for four weeks with perfect weather conditions and occasional storms refreshing the grapes, which had no impact on the health of the fruit. The grapes are harvested by hand with a selection of grapes in the vineyard. The wine is fermented in temperature controlled, conical, stainless steel tanks which allow for caps to naturally be broken very softly during pump overs. The wine was aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels of different ages. Bottled in February 2016.

Piccini MemoroWine flows through the historical veins of every corner of Italy. We chose a compass rose for our label to send an invitation to experience in one bottle four different grape varietals, each typical expression of a distinct Italian region: Veneto, Abruzzo, Puglia and Sicily. In many ways, Memoro is an uncharted territory for us: it is the first time when Piccini takes up the challenge of creating a wine as an Italian icon. The challenge was to create a wine that would not only taste Italian beyond any doubt, but would feel Italian. The project is the fruit of a long research and experimentation, testing and blending from all Italy. Memoro truly emerged as a cuvee wine, a blend of not only different grapes of different origins in Italy, but also of different vintages: the 12 months oaked casked Montepulciano from Abruzzo, the solar Nero d'Avola from Sicily, the colder climate (Veneto) Merlot and the passito Primitivo wine from Puglia. The final blend was the one that called its one name: Memoro, Latin for "remember" Italia. In the fullest sense, Memoro Italia is born from our Family's Italian pride. A warm, modern style with notes of dark cherries, figs and coffee in a delicate oak frame. Generous on the palate, revealing a bright fruity core. Concentrated, exposing great structure, yet harmonious and soft. Long, dense finish.

The first two locations benefit from a warm climate where wines are structured and elegante while Quinta de Cidrô benefits from a cool climate that permits the slow maturation of grapes and the production of aromatic wines with smooth tanins. The Evel Red is considered a typical Douro reference, with aromas of red fruit and green notes, typical for the region. It reveals itself very balanced, flavourful and round with a good structure and a fruity, persistent finish.
Bogle Cabernet Sauvignon 2016Deeply extracted cherry and bright cassis arrest the senses, holding captive on both the nose and the palate.
