This wine shows a savory bouquet with smokey notes of burnt chestnut or scorched earth. The 2011 Brunello di Montalcino is an oak-driven expression of Sangiovese that also shows ample intensity as far as its fleshy and fruity side is concerned. Ultimately, the wine reaches good balance and a deep sense of plushness and richness.
