Ilaria Malbec 2014
Wine EnthusiastThis wine exhibits hearty oak and ripe black cherry, cranberry and plum. Blended with 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, its grapes from Coombsville primarily, it's high-strung in supportive acidity and dried herb and tobacco.
Wine AdvocateThe 2014 versions of these wines are, as one might expect, fruit-forward, delicious and already irresistible, with the exception of the 2014 Malbec, which seemed competent and straightforward, but not nearly as impressive as the 2013. It should be drunk over the next 2-4 years.
